About the Desert Bighorn Sheep Hunt Raffle
Each ticket purchased is one (1) entry for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to win a 10-day fully guided Desert Bighorn Sheep hunt in Sonora, Mexico with Sierra El Alamo Outfitters, one of North America’s premier desert sheep operations. This hunt is valued at $65,000.
Only 1,200 tickets will be sold.
Each ticket costs $100, plus a 3% processing fee to cover credit card charges.
The drawing will be held at 5831 SE International Drive, Milwaukie, Oregon on July 10, 2026 at 4:00 PM (PDT). Winners do not need to be present to win.
The hunt will take place during Sierra El Alamo’s December 2026 – April 2027 season, with exact dates scheduled directly between the winner and the outfitter.
What’s Included
The winner will receive a fully guided, turn-key desert sheep hunting experience, including:
- Round-trip ground transportation to and from Hermosillo International Airport
- Services of:
- A full-time guide and translator
- Two experienced desert sheep hunting guides
- Gear packer
- Camp cook and in-camp staff
- Fully outfitted desert sheep camp in Sonora, Mexico
- Ten (10) full days of guided hunting
An observer or companion may accompany the winner for $2,500 for the full 10-day hunt.
The hunt concludes upon the successful harvest of a Desert Bighorn Sheep.
Winner Responsibilities
The winner is responsible for:
- Desert Bighorn Sheep tag and licenses
- Airfare to and from Hermosillo, Mexico
- Trophy export, import, and shipping to the United States
- Gratuities for guides and staff
- CITES permit
- Mexican firearm permit (if applicable)
Eligibility & Legal Requirements
- Participants must be 18 years of age or older
- Participants must be physically present in the State of Oregon at the time of ticket purchase
- The winner may be required to provide tax reporting information
